Job Description
Key Responsibilities: - Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stocktakes, and ensuring accurate inventory records. - Receiving and Inspecting Goods: Checking incoming shipments for quality and accuracy, verifying items against purchase orders, and storing goods correctly. - Order Fulfilment: Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring items are securely packed and labelled accurately. - Maintaining Warehouse Organization: Keeping the warehouse clean and orderly, arranging stock logically and ensuring items are stored in designated locations. - Record Keeping: Maintaining records of stock levels, transactions, and discrepancies to support inventory control and audits. - Safety and Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations, using safety equipment, and reporting hazards to ensure a safe working environment. - Customer Service: Interacting with customers or suppliers, addressing queries, resolving issues and ensuring efficient order processing. Qualifications and Skills Required: - Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required - Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate inventory records and identifying discrepancies - Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery - Organizational Skills: Keeping the warehouse orderly and managing stock efficiently - Technical Skills: Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills - Communication Skills: Effectively interacting with suppliers, customers and team members - Time Management: Handling multiple tasks and prioritizing duties effectively
