They are involved in a wide range of projects including schools, office builds, retail, and high spec and high density residential, projects range to in excess of £10 million in size. Projects are all conducted whilst maintaining a focus on sustainable design. Responsibilities Carrying out the designs for a diverse range of building services To include design from concept to handover, including preparation of drawings, specifications, and all relevant tender documentation. Producing drawings (Layouts, Schematics, & Sections), To produce estimates as required and formulate budgets for projects as required. Working as part of a team to ensure that coordination is achieved. Reviewing and commenting on information provided by the client and other members of the professional team. Reviewing and commenting on information provided by contactors/sub-contractors. Attending and contributing to design team meetings, client meetings, pre-contract and post-contract meetings. Guiding junior team members. Experience Required To be successful in this role you will be an experienced electrical design engineer within building services. Ideally a graduate with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience in electrical building services design. High degree of knowledge of technical issues and ability in electrical engineering within building services. Ability to work independently. Experience within a range of building project types
