Reception Teaching Assistant Location: Coventry, CV1 Day Rate: £95 - 105 Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm Are you passionate about early years education, and looking for a change in 2025? Long Term Futures is seeking a compassionate, approachable, and nurturing Teaching Assistant to provide support for children in Reception. The school is looking for someone versatile who can confidently work across whole-class settings, small groups, and on a one-to-one basis. This role is based at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' Primary School in Central Coventry and is offered on a long-term basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent position. The Role: Assist the class teacher with teaching and learning activities in the classroom. Ensure a safe and supportive environment where all children can thrive. Lead phonics sessions to enhance pupils' literacy skills. Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).Who we are looking for: Hold Cache/NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent. Must have experience working within a childcare or Primary setting. Knowledge of EYFS curriculum Have a genuine passion for teaching and learning. Be committed to raising attainment, aspiration, and self-esteem of pupils. Experience working with children with SEN.
