AWS Platform Engineer

Your new company and role This role is with a major public sector organisation based in Edinburgh. Our client requires an experienced engineer to assist with design, build and support of full-stack services on their AWS platform. What you'll need to succeed The following skills are essential for this role: Designing and building working software, deploying to cloud using PaaS and SaaS JavaScript UI frameworks, specifically React AWS Serverless and cloud native architecture CI/CD methodology and native AWS CI/CD tooling Defining infrastructure and processes as code Applying automated testing to AWS environments and build processes AWS Shield Advanced, WAFv2, AWS Firewall Manager AWS Lambda, CDK, S3, Cloud Formation, API Gateway, EC2, AMIs GuardDuty, Transit Gateway, AWS Config, Route53, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Codepipeline, CodeArtifact Containerised platforms, Kubernetes, ECS, Fargate.
