Assignment: Freelance / CDD – 6 Months Start: Mid-April to Mid-October Guided by an inner creative compass that is unaffected by fleeting trends, Dries Van Noten is renowned for his signature eclecticism—a fearless juxtaposition of print, weave, color, and cut that yields captivating results transcending time and fashion cycles. In 2022, the brand expanded into beauty and fragrance with the launch of gender-fluid fragrances and refillable lipsticks. In June 2024, Dries Van Noten presented his final collection as Creative Director but continues to contribute to the brand. In December 2024, Julian Klausner was appointed Creative Director. His first women’s runway collection will debut on March 5, 2025. Mission In this position at Dries Van Noten, you will play a pivotal role in managing press relations and supporting the brand's communication initiatives. Your responsibilities will include coordinating international press activities, overseeing sample trafficking, providing event support, and preparing media reports. With your ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and creativity, you will help enhance the brand’s global visibility while staying true to its values in the global fashion industry. Your Tasks & responsibilities Maintain daily contact with international press. Manage worldwide sample trafficking and coordinate samples for editorial requests to secure print, digital, and social media coverage. Coordinate sample management with external press offices. Assist the press manager with womenswear and menswear shows, events, and press days. Organize and oversee shopping appointments. Monitor media coverage and prepare daily and monthly reports. Oversee credit and image requests. Analyze seasonal results and performance. Propose new actions and initiatives to enhance press and communication efforts. The tasks above are not conclusive and may change according to the needs of the company. A flexible approach towards tasks and responsibilities is always needed. Profile 4–5 years of experience in an in-house press office or a fashion PR agency. Passionate about communication and fashion, with a strong knowledge and understanding of the industry. Fluent in English (both written and spoken). A natural communicator who is collegial, well-organized, and able to prioritize effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Proficient in Launchmetrics and Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint and Excel). Enthusiastic with a collaborative attitude.
