Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience and minimum of 3 years in leadership role as a HR Business Partner or HR Manager in a multinational context Preferably experience in Retail Mass Market or Operational, Logistics and Supply Chain sector Proven record of developing people and organization Strong leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders at different levels Passionate about business and people with a strong belief in individuals’ potential Good knowledge about the rights and obligations of workers and employers, and how to mediate the relationship between workers, employing entities, trade unions and the government Ability to implement long-term plans according to set budgets and goals Ability to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility, and also be a team player Demonstrate the ability to use different leadership styles as appropriate for different situations Knowledge of identifying, assessing, encouraging and ensuring co-workers’ performance against organisational and individual goals Ability to govern and manage partnership models to build trustful relationships Knowledge of anticipating, identifying and developing potential successors for key positions in IKEA Good knowledge of Italian and English languages What you'll be doing day to day: You are a business partner and a contributor for the Unit Management Team and lead the unit People and Culture team to secure that People strategies are locally implemented into action. Act as a P&C business partner to the Market Manager on all People topics Lead and develop the unit P&C team to provide excellent co-worker experience Ensure the people strategy, global principles/guidelines as localized by the Country P&C team and relevant business plans are operationally implemented Influence unit management team to continuously develop local leadership capabilities Support the building of local business competence & performance by setting and working on relevant goals Ensure delivery of learning & training at unit level, supported by the P&C Generalist or Market Area Learning Delivery Specialist Ensure local employer communication is consistent, well perceived and builds on the IKEA brand Secure an up-to-date succession process and plan by influencing the managers in taking the lead with special focus on developing talents and high-performing potentials Responsible for implementation of co-worker relations plan that effectively manages all local interactions with co-workers Together with the Business Navigation Manager, responsible for the distribution of budget hours between the unit departments WORKING WITH US HAS ITS REWARDS: Being part of the IKEA team has many benefits.
