Sales (Head of Division) January 7, 2025 Western Cape Full-time Company Description Hibarri is a technology driven platform for commodity producers like coal miners, farmers and manufacturers to list their products. You can say that were the equivalent of Amazon in the commodities world. A big part of what we do includes hosting events like the International Commodity Summit for our customers, where over 10,000 participants in the symbiotic commodity sectors come together to exhibit, network, and attend some of the most important seminars of our time. Job Description In your role, you would be responsible for sales for our upcoming event. This includes liaising with CEOs, directors, business owners and influential figures locally and internationally to help promote their strategic objectives, and ours. The first 6 months of the role include a focused effort to promote the International Commodity Summit 2025 as the respective divisional sales representative. The event operates as a tournament event with the next one being planned while the current one is hosted in South Africa. Once the event is complete, the next event will be created and sales cycles start for the next round. Depending on your core competencies, you will be assigned to one of the following sales roles: > Head of Agriculture > Head of Chemicals, Textiles & Recyclables > Head of Construction & Infrastructure > Head of Energy & Finance > Head of Manufacturing & Logistics > Head of Metals & Minerals > Head of Government Affairs (International Government Offices) We are based in Val de Vie, Paarl, Western Cape. We have 3 shareholders, a team of 4 in the executive suites and are currently growing our team to about 16. Approaching the event, we will have about 230 temporary staff under us for the 4 days of the event, of which you may lead a group of up to 35. Remuneration and Benefits: The earning potential of the position is between R35,000 R65,000 per month and is performance based. The basic salary is R17,500 per month. The commission is R3,500 per sale on average. Average 8-12 sales per month. Extraordinary sales would be 30-40 per month. We pay weekly or monthly depending on your preference It is a contract position and may involve travel for meetings Work Environment, Culture and Growth Potential: Hibarri is a young, dynamic team in the tech and commodity space. Qualifications and Experience Needed: Minimum 6 months experience in B2B sales or similar career involving regular interaction with executive level employees and entrepreneurs. Own network in the similar industry or job is a bonus. Knowledge of CRM systems, Linkedin and customer outreach is helpful.
