This hybrid approach is the key to the team's historic success, as they are both sales experts and masters of entire areas of consulting or agency work. Act as a key contributor or leader in the pre-sales and sales process of our tailored offerings for Retail & Luxury services, as well as in promoting our capabilities to clients and prospects. Identify and develop growth opportunities, particularly in the luxury retail sector, by leveraging synergies between data, technology, and business consulting. Lead or support consultants or managers in client projects, applying your specific expertise (business, technical, or industry-related). Business Dimension: Promote and market our offerings and capabilities to a portfolio of clients in the financial sector, establishing Velvet as the most attractive, distinctive, and impactful player in the market. Develop and implement a personal action plan to maintain a high level of client and prospect engagement, both to defend our positioning and to identify growth opportunities. Take full ownership of proposal development, with support from the Business Units that hold the business or technology expertise relevant to the mission, or provide a decisive contribution in converting leads when the proposal is led by a Business Unit leader. Continuously ensure sales excellence by utilizing internal processes and tools for visibility, management, and overall coordination of the commercial approach. Secure and defend Velvet's economic and contractual interests throughout and after the sales process. Maintain regular follow-up on projects and client relationships to ensure the alignment of services with client needs, and identify follow-up or extension opportunities for the mission. Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by presenting viewpoints, convictions, or success stories from the firm, with a focus on business ROI. Build and maintain a knowledge base around the clients or sectors assigned to you, in order to accelerate and streamline commercial activities. Embody and promote sales excellence within the company, especially among the management community, to inspire, develop, and enhance their business impact and appetite. Consulting Dimension: Lead or participate in consulting missions related to your expertise or adjacent areas, to maintain a strong level of credibility in the Business dimension. Manage consulting engagements across all components: quality of deliverables, adherence to schedules and commitments, and budget management. Continuously develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing monitoring of client-relevant topics, training, and personal curiosity. Master the entire production chain of a consulting mission, from project acquisition to recovery, ensuring complete operational performance. Manage a team of consultants during projects and provide continuous coordination and feedback to your hierarchical manager to ensure constructive feedback and personal development. Guarantee the capitalization of knowledge and deliverables from your missions, sharing feedback and experiences as needed. Profile You have between 7 and 15 years of professional experience, including significant experience in a consulting firm or a digital agency. Given the nature of our work, which involves selling and delivering projects requiring a wide range of skills (data, consulting, creative, technology), you have developed a solid understanding of how to sell these types of services. You can demonstrate significant contributions or successes in business initiatives, going beyond understanding best practices and logic. Your ability to build high-quality relationships with decision-makers—particularly managers and executives in IT departments, Marketing, Client Operations, Digital, or E-commerce—makes you effective and comfortable in understanding client needs and closing deals that balance the interests of both the client and Velvet. You are passionate about the business and technological environment related to customer experience, and you can draw on previous experience to build a strong case in pre-sales or during consulting missions. Your rigor and curiosity make you adept at both developing business with existing clients and seizing new opportunities or collaborating with partners. Experience managing large-scale projects for luxury retail businesses.
