Job Description
Requirements: 5 years managerial experience in the car hire / rental industry Valid drivers license Matric or equivalent qualification Duties: Fleet Maintenance and Safety Achieve and maintain a vehicle utilization rate Provide superior customer service to ensure a positive experience for every customer, both in person and over the phone Staff Scheduling and Operations Coverage: Create efficient schedules to ensure proper coverage at all times, including managing the rental desk and operational areas Inventory Management: Ensure sufficient rental vehicles are available, manage inventory effectively Oversee forecasting processes to ensure optimal vehicle availability based on demand Maintain a focus on risk management, ensuring that targets are met and address potential risks Keep all administrative processes up to date and in compliance Implement operational procedures, ensuring staff follow high-risk processes and standards, in line with company policies Lead training initiatives for both new and existing employees Talent Management Maintain a positive working environment Ensure that necessary supplies, including stationery, consumables and non-consumables, are always in stock and readily available Concierge Role Knowledge Ensure that all company campaigns are effectively communicated and filtered down to the team Achieve or exceed sales targets and maintain a profit margin Oversee the movement and cleanliness of vehicles in the wash bay and ensure vehicles are allocated efficiently Maintain facility cleanliness Ensure that all staff are adhering to the uniform policy, maintaining a professional appearance at all times
