The Group frame includes the mother company located in France (Creil), the production company located in Belgium (Antwerpen) the distribution company located in Italy (Turino), a German office and a production company located in Brazil ( Sao Paulo) The Role: Reporting directly to the CEO, the Group Financial Controller will work closely with the Financial Services department to drive operational excellence, process improvement, and financial performance across the organization. This strategic role combines financial expertise with a focus on continuous improvement and alignment with long-term business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the Financial Services team to design and implement new tools to measure operational excellence at the General Management level. Conduct a comprehensive review of internal processes and contribute to long-term strategy formulation. Build and develop new financial reporting dedicated to operating managers of the Group (Sales, production, purchase, R&D) Drive performance monitoring through robust and innovative processes. Track transformation projects and ensure compliance with industry standards such as IATF 16949. Foster continuous improvement by adapting processes and organizational structures to evolving market needs. Strategic Financial Oversight: Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes with a focus on detailed variance analysis for all entities of the Group. Evaluate and enhance financial strategies, including cash flow management, working capital optimization, and ROI. Support investment policies and calculate key performance metrics such as ROCE. Provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making via cross-functional engagement and committee reviews. Corporate Governance: Facilitate corporate performance with structured oversight of legal entities (CA and AG meetings). Ensure alignment with the Financial Services team for strategic agenda management and adherence to deadlines. Ensure transversal alignment with corporate initiatives, reflecting the mantra: “Trust does not exclude control.” Process & ERP Optimization: Collaborate with management and Financial Services to define ERP needs and lead related projects. Perform targeted assignments to address ad hoc requirements from General Management. Internal Controls & Audits: Oversee internal audits and collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy. Establish and refine internal financial policies and procedures to uphold integrity and accountability. Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably within the chemical or manufacturing industries. Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations. Proficient in data analysis and forecasting models. Excellent command of financial software and MS Office Suite. CPA or CMA preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information in an understandable manner. Fluency in English; proficiency in German or Italian is a plus. Willingness to perform a multicultural environment. Self-driven and team leader High skills in data analysis coming from various IT data as Datawarehouse
