Servicing more than 250 clients across 4 continents and targeting all non-life insurance carriers, we focus on more mature markets for faster expansion. This client-facing role is responsible for providing expert support and driving process modernization for clients using our proprietary insurance reserving software, Arius. The Senior Non-Life Reserving Actuary acts as a subject matter expert to the industry, to our clients, and to our internal software development and sales & marketing teams, especially regarding using our solutions and other related tools as leverage to modernize the P&C insurance reserving process. In addition to effective interaction with senior- and C-level executives at major insurers, this role will also develop – both individually and collaboratively – webinar presentations, white papers, and similar reserving-related thought leadership. Demonstrating a solid understanding of accepted insurance finance and actuarial calculations alongside bespoke reserving analysis concepts. Mastering common outputs and reporting needs of a reserve analysis. Training and support for solution partners: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our delivery partners (key consulting and technology firms) to assist them in the delivery of training and support to our mutual clients. Excellent written and spoken English language skills, and the ability to clearly relay technical information to non-technical audiences BONUS CRITERIA Intermediate to advanced experience reading and writing Visual Basic or VBA, or proficiency with Python or R Priority shall be shown first of all to candidates willing to work from our Paris office, then to other France based candidates, then to candidates based elsewhere in the EMEA region.
