Destination Manager (m/f)

We are looking for a passionate professional with a strong portfolio of contacts and has at least 3 years contracting experience. and we’re in the business of planning and organising trips all over the globe for almost half a million travellers each year. We’re G2 Travel, a wholesale tour operator with a network of offices spanning Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America. The role’s main responsibility is to add new contracted properties in the area of his/her responsibility, ensuring the best commercial performance possible. Securing exclusive rates, inventory and conditions within his/her portfolio of hotels through negotiations and management of supplier relations. Delivery of most competitive contracts in terms of rates and availability, including special deals such as pre-buy, reverse override or override. Ensure that all contracts go through the correct commercial approval processes and that all details are provided for data input. Undertake on-going analysis of product and quality within contracting area in line with the business requirements and needs. Ensure credit is being negotiated on all contracts, in line with the set cluster payment schedule. Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of an organisation including hotel management and owners; Strong commercial skills with a working knowledge of hotel distribution; Excellent written and verbal communication with robust verbal and written English; Proficient at evaluating and analysing data to determine and execute the necessary strategies needed to achieve growth; IT proficiency including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
