Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager – Renewable Energy

Job Title: Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager Renewable Energy Location: Randburg Employment Type: Full-time Hire Resolve is looking for an experienced O&M Manager to oversee the performance and maintenance of our client's renewable energy systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, strong attention to detail, and good communication and time management skills. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: Monitor solar system performance and ensure production and efficiency targets are met. Analyze data and create reports for stakeholders. Develop and implement O&M procedures and best practices. Maintenance Management: Schedule and manage routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Coordinate troubleshooting and fault fixes. Manage spare parts inventory and procurement. Technical Leadership: Support and guide the O&M team. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Identify recurring issues and implement solutions. Stakeholder Communication: Keep clients informed about system performance, maintenance schedules, and issues. Work with project managers and engineers to optimize operations. Time and Resource Management: Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and operational needs. Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining system reliability. Qualifications and Experience: Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience: At least 3 years in solar energy projects, focusing on operations and maintenance. Knowledge of PV systems, inverters, and energy storage solutions. Experience with Energy Management Systems and performance monitoring is a plus. Skills and Competencies: Strong technical expertise in solar energy systems. Excellent attention to detail to ensure optimal system performance. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams. Good time management and organizational skills.
