Bioprocessing Scientist £35,000 - £40,000 We are looking for an experienced Bioprocessing Scientist to join a dynamic and innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a (GMP) environment, contributing directly to the production of pharmaceutical products. Your Key Responsibilities As a Bioprocessing Scientist, you will: Execute production processes using aseptic techniques to ensure the manufacture of high-quality sterile products Maintain compliance with GMP standards in a cleanroom environment Monitor and maintain the GMP facility, including routine cleaning and environmental monitoring Oversee stock control and inventory management, ensuring timely ordering and appropriate storage of materials Support technology transfer activities as new processes are introduced into manufacturing Perform thorough documentation and ensure data integrity in accordance with GMP practices Take part in root cause analysis and risk assessments Participate in planning to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Deliver high standards of compliance training to operational teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments What We’re Looking For To thrive in this role, you’ll need: A degree in a relevant scientific discipline with practical laboratory experience Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a preference for biologics or aseptic processes A strong understanding of GMP and aseptic manufacturing practices Practical experience in sample preparation and analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an ability to work with electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS) If you’re ready to apply your skills and knowledge to a challenging and rewarding role, we’d love to hear from you.
