Enterprise Solutions Architect, £700 - £750 per day (Outside of IR35), Hybrid 2 days onsite Sevenoaks Our financial services focussed customer are undergoing a broad technology transformation over the next two years and are looking to add to their existing IT and Architecture teams. Role Overview: As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the enterprise architecture strategy. You will leverage Microsoft technologies to design scalable, secure, and highly integrated solutions that enhance business processes and drive digital transformation. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with the Microsoft ecosystem, including cloud architectures, microservices, and enterprise applications, while also demonstrating strong leadership and collaboration skills across teams. You will work closely with key stakeholders from the Architecture Team, IT Leadership, Programme Management, Service Delivery and Supplier architecture functions, to facilitate appropriate technology decisions. They will also ensure alignment across business change, IT architecture and technology solution delivery, to meet business objectives, while ensuring compliance of enterprise technology solutions Competencies: Experience in architecting enterprise scale solutions using the Microsoft product set Previous experience in performing in a large complex change programme with scope coverage of CRM/ERP delivery Experience in delivering enterprise scale solutions within the Azure environment & Microsoft Azure Service Bus Experience in solutions that utilise the Microsoft Power Automate platform & Microsoft Data Platform Track record of delivering Architecture for bespoke .Net microservice focussed applications Experience Will have been involved in the complete project cycle of a number of significant IT change delivery programmes Experience of Payment, Banking and CRM platforms (specifically within a Financial Services Environment). Strong experience in technical analysis, architecture and design at an enterprise solutioning level Experience working within a Retail Banking environment; and delivering to regulatory, legislative and security standards. Extensive application delivery experience, particularly with Microsoft technologies (MSMQ, .NET Platform, COM , SQL Server Database Services, Azure Services) Solid experience of architecture frameworks, reference models, and management of the architecture repository Solid experience in management of the Technical Architecture (supporting continuous improvements and roadmaps) Specialist Skills/ Ability/Knowledge Solid understanding of ALM methodologies in Azure DevOps/GIThub including repositories, pipelines, and test (D365/Power platform/integration is beneficial) Proficient in API-centric architecture, microservices, and data integration techniques. Understanding of various integration patterns such as point-to-point, hub-and-spoke, publish-subscribe, etc. Understanding of the Microsoft Common Data Model for Financial Services. Knowledge of middleware and messaging technologies like enterprise service buses (ESBs), message queues, and event-driven architecture. Solid understanding of Architecture Governance frameworks and artefact management and life-cycle Solid understanding of Data Architectures, and governance throughout the Data Life Cycle Well-versed in security principles with experience in architecting and designing secure SOA. Solid understanding of Digital Commerce technologies and platforms (ECMS, Payment Services, CIAM for B2B and B2C).
