Job Description Job Description We are looking for a Human Resources Clerk to join our organization in the non-profit sector, located in SALEM, Oregon, United States. This role provides a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Human Resources Clerk, you will provide clerical support to the HR department, manage data entry tasks, and handle customer service duties. You will also be responsible for document scanning, editing, and background checks. Responsibilities: • Provide clerical support to the Human Resources Department • Handle data entry tasks with accuracy • Effectively manage document scanning and attaching to employee files • Conduct background checks as necessary • Respond to HR related email inquiries in a timely manner • Edit tasks such as surveys, job descriptions, and other documents • Offer customer service support in addressing inquiries and resolving issues • Assist in HR Administration tasks •• Occasionally handle multi-line phone system in the absence of the receptionist • Familiarity with About Time software is a plus • Ability to conduct thorough Background Checks • Strong Customer Service skills are necessary • Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration is a must • Capable of performing Document Scanning tasks • Strong Editing skills are highly valued • Experience in Answering Multi-Line Phone System is beneficial
