Completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours. Direct patient care experience preferred. License: Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, RN Lic Must-Have: Ability to read, write, and speak the English language. Basic computer skills are required. Must have strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills. Job Description: - Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) using evidence-based practice. - Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that adapts to cultural diversity and specific population characteristics. - Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate communication methods for setting and purpose. - Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care promoting a respectful, inclusive clinical environment. - Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, promoting the recruitment and retention of healthcare team members. - Participate in performance improvement activities and support nursing research and evidence-based practice. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified future workforce, modeling professional nursing. - Uphold and comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and clinical competencies, including legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards. - Participate in data collection and consult with experts to address practice questions. - Plan proactively for patient care across the care continuum. - Support the efficient and effective use of human and material resources. - Comply with all organizational policies, standards, and code of conduct.
