Planning & Logistics Manager

Your Tasks: Updating of forecast planning, in collaboration with sales and alignment with HQ; Improve the Italian forecasting system, integrating international guidelines in close collaboration with sales; Placing production orders and managing stock levels; Tracking and communicating order status to Sales and/or Account Team; Arranging delivery & inbound transport for different product groups; Keeping contact with the warehouses to prevent and solve any possible shipment issue; Negotiate contract with logistic service providers and manage the service level; Booking, processing of incoming orders, issue of invoices & order confirmations; Independent maintenance, accounting and documentation of condition agreements; Gathering of all relevant information, issuing of shipping documents and subsequent sharing with Customers and Partners involved; Maintenance of customer master data/hierarchies, prices and conditions in SAP. Your profile: Master level education in economics or mathematics; Min. 5 years work experience in demand planning or supply chain recommended; Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP; Excellent knowledge of English; Customer oriented; Team player and very good attention to detail; Comfortable and accurate with numbers; Friendly and open personality but assertive; Pro-active approach to solving problems.
