Events and PR Manager

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and organized individual to join our dynamic marketing team. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Coordinator to oversee our event planning, manage our test bike fleet, and coordinate our PR communication strategy. In this role, you will work closely with our internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of events, strategic management of the bike fleet, and effective communication of our brand message. Key Responsibilities: Event Management: Event Planning & Coordination : Lead the planning and organization of Cinelli’s presence at key industry events, bike shows, expos, and community engagements. Logistics : Oversee logistics such as booth design, setup, staffing, and ensure timely delivery of materials. Team Collaboration : Work with internal teams (marketing, sales, design) and external suppliers (event organizers, logistics companies) to guarantee smooth event execution. Post-Event Recap : Collect feedback, assess event outcomes, and create detailed post-event reports to share insights and improve future participation. Test Bike Fleet Management: Fleet Organization : Manage and organize Cinelli’s test bike fleet for events, demos, ambassador programs, and marketing purposes. Bike Preparation & Maintenance : Ensure that all bikes are maintained, prepared, and ready for use at events, demos, or as part of ambassador programs. Inventory Management : Maintain a detailed inventory of test bikes, track their distribution, and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and return of bikes. Marketing Fleet Strategy : Coordinate with the marketing team to align the fleet with upcoming campaigns, influencer collaborations, and ambassador initiatives. PR Communication Strategy: Brand Representation : Represent Cinelli in external PR activities, ensuring our messaging aligns with our brand’s mission and values. Media Relations : Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key opinion leaders in the cycling community to secure press coverage and product reviews. Content Creation : Collaborate with the marketing team to produce compelling content, including press releases, event updates, and product launches. Social Media Support : Assist in supporting the brand's social media presence before, during, and after events to increase engagement and awareness. Requirements: Experience : At least 2 years of experience in event management, marketing, or PR, preferably within the cycling or sports industry. Skills : Excellent project management skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and event management software (e.g., Asana, Trello). Passion for Cycling : A genuine interest and passion for the cycling industry and community is a must. Problem-Solving : Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing circumstances, especially in dynamic event settings. Travel : Willingness to travel for events and trade shows as required. Driving license needed. Desirable: Experience managing a fleet of products (e.g., bikes, demo materials). Familiarity with social media platforms and PR tools. Fluency in English language is a plus.
