The REGIONAL CATEGORY SPECIALIST MEN is responsible for supporting the strategic management and development of the men’s collections. This role involves selecting articles, defining purchasing costs and overseeing distribution. The resource plays a key role in market analysis and in supporting strategic company decisions, ensuring the achievement of product and business objectives for the men sector. He/she is also responsible for contributing to the definition of product lines, ensuring that they are in line with market trends and customer expectations, analysing market trends, researching potential new suppliers and assessing their suitability for integration into the supply chain. KEY CHALLENGES: Creating the collection Support the definition and development of product lines that align with market demands and business strategies ensuring a balanced assortment Support the creation and implementation of collection strategies that maximize sales and profitability while meeting customer needs Identify, evaluate and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness Analyse the product ranges and competitive actions to stay ahead in the market Research the range from the best suppliers/vendors/brands to achieve optimum margin and maximise profitability Regularly analyse and review product performance proposing actions for underperforming items Market and business management Conduct comprehensive market research through digital platforms, trade fairs, store visits and networking to gather insights on target customer market Analyse market trends to develop product ranges that align with consumer needs and preferences Maintain competitive awareness by staying informed about market dynamics and competitor activities Adhere to purchasing timelines to ensure compliance with deadlines outlined in purchasing calendars Collaborate with planners to ensure the creation of an appropriate collection according to the strategy Interface with all different company functions such as planning, merchandising, marketing and sourcing Facilitate effective communication to ensure a continuous flow of information among stakeholders CORE COMPETENCIES: Market awareness - consumer, brands, competitors Good knowledge of Office Suite Product knowledge Design process Analytics skills Budget Management Trend Forecasting Deliver consistently by following departmental priorities and respecting deadlines Relate well to all kinds of, up, down and sideways, inside and outside the organization WORK EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years of experience in an international company in a similar role LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Fluent Italian Fluent English LOCATION: Limena (PD) Possibility of working in Smart Working for part of the week after an initial on-site training period J-18808-Ljbffr
