Job Title: MRI Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - MRI Tech Job Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year; Unit accepts first-time travelers License: GA or Compact license required at time of submission Certifications: BLS, ARRT-R Must-Have: Availability to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period Job Description: - Work schedule is Monday-Friday with a maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed. - There are no weekend or call requirements. - Floating within the facility may be required. - Full compliance is necessary to start on time; non-compliance may delay the start by two weeks. - Candidate to be reviewed by clinical management to determine suitability. - No COVID-19 vaccine requirement. - Flu vaccine status is unknown. - Two supervisory references are highly preferred. - Prior permanent staff must be away for at least one full year to return as a traveler. - Candidates must complete core items and schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start. - Non-billable orientation hours are 13, including modules, which are recorded via transcripts and vary by specialty. - Patient Population: Adolescents to geriatrics. - If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it; if two, work both; if three, work two of the holidays. Major holidays include: - Christmas Eve and Day - New Year's Eve and Day - Memorial Day - Independence Day - Labor Day - Thanksgiving/Black Friday
