Junior Accounts Payable Specialist

We’re looking for a Junior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Madrid and help shape the future of contextual advertising as we continue to expand globally. Your Challenge You will be responsible for handling vendor invoicing on a daily/weekly basis. You will be responsible for Purchase order reconciliations (Invoice vs PO). You will consider accruals/provisions booking at the month-end. You will be part of the monthly AP closing accounting process. You will actively collaborate in the Payment run process. You will support and cooperate in Front Office inquiries: Email and phone support. You will perform and engage following the department's KPIs and SLAs. You will actively support the team in projects related to new market integrations and internal corporate projects. You will be part of the automation and harmonisation of tasks within the team. What You’ll Need to Succeed Have a business management or finance-related degree. Have between 0-3 years of a strong accounting background. Are fluent in English and Spanish. Other languages would be an advantage. Have thorough experience with spreadsheets and Excel. Are attentive to detail and well-organized. Possess strong prioritisation skills; flexibility and the ability to multitask daily. Are not afraid to speak up, make mistakes, learn from them and propose improvements.
