Context of the Position: We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with strong automation skills. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented quality assurance professional who excels in manual testing but also possesses solid automation knowledge. As part of our team, he will initially focus on ensuring product quality through manual testing while collaborating on automation initiatives. He will also take on the responsibilities of leading our QA team, guiding testing strategies (manual and automatic), and driving quality standards across our projects. Your Responsibilities: As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for: Conduct manual testing to identify, document, and report bugs and issues, ensuring a high level of product quality. Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications. Develop and execute automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage, supporting our transition to a more automated testing framework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and support, to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Analyze test results, diagnose issues, and work closely with developers to resolve them. Assume QA Lead responsibilities, including coordinating and prioritizing tasks for a small team of QA engineers (4). Mentor and train junior team members, promoting best practices in both manual and automated testing. Take ownership of QA processes, continuously improving methodologies and ensuring adherence to quality standards. ️‍♂️ What We're Looking For: Experience: 5 years of experience in QA with a strong background in manual and automatic testing. Proven experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or similar). Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish (Interviews will be conducted in English). Fluent in French will be a plus. Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels. Technical Skills: Experience testing desktop, web and mobile apps. Solid knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Flutter, Swift or similar) used in automation. Familiarity with test management tool like XRAY for Jira and bug tracking systems. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional teamwork. Leadership potential, with a willingness to guide and inspire team members. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with an ability to articulate issues clearly and collaborate effectively.
