Job Description
Omega CRM Consulting is looking for a Ecommerce Senior Software Engineer (Technical Lead) that would like to collaborate with one of the top 15 global pharmaceutical companies. The Sr. Software Engineer will partner with the business client community to identify and analyze business needs and provide innovative recommendations for technology solutions in support of the Digital Commerce Global Strategy. Research and propose technical solutions as well as work with interna and externa partners on development requirements, design specifications and possible architectural methodologies while adhering to best coding practices and global standards. Your main duties will be: Consulting and Analysis: Meet regularly with defined clients and stakeholders to understand and analyse their processes and needs. Determine requirements to present possible solutions or improvements. Technical Focus: Serve asan expert on existing applications/systems and underlying architecture in the Digital Commerce ecosystem. Employ comprehensive knowledge to influence technology decisions. Identify IT or Pharma industry processes or technologies that could provide our client with a competitive advantage. Work with internal and external technical teams to develop innovative solutions, including documenting, designing, and code development. Working alongside the team to develop concepts and projects for software solutions, contributing ideas, and expanding his/her technical expertise. Review & improve code, performance, stability, and scalability of the platform. lmprove the technical competence of the development team through traíníng and mentorship. Able to justify technical design decisions to other experienced engineers. Think creatively and be capa ble to solve challenges and find workarounds to unexpected struggles. Deliver tasks in a timely manner. Able to have detailed technical discussions with different stakeholders, challenging perspectives and articulating the value of his/her own. Requirements Bachelor and/or master's degree in computer science or comparable experience. 5 years Adobe Commerce experience or 7 years in a similar platform. Deep, hands-on experience and proficiency in Adobe Commerce development and customization. Strong knowledge of front-end web technologies such as React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with back-end web development using PHP, MySQL and GraphQL. Knowledge ofweb applicatíon security and performance optimization. Experience wíth version control systems, such as Git. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functíonal teams. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated knowledge of the critícal issues associated with coordinating across multiple IT functions, resources, and complex processes. Able to work on a team, good communication and customer-oriented skills, proactivity challenging status quo and contínuous ímprovement míndset. Analytic and Organizatíon skills. Excellent spoken and written English. Experience workíng in a virtual, international and multicultural environment. Knowledge of best practices for agile testing on a Scrum team.
