Global Category Manager

Global Category Manager Location: Barcelona, Spain We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Category Manager to join our team in Barcelona. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a specific group or category of products or services on a global scale. You will play a key role in developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and profitability within your category. Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead strategic plans for your category, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation, contract management, and performance evaluation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure effective execution of category strategies. Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Provide training and support on legal and contract management issues within the global contracting team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 10 years of experience in category management positions. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
