Senior Data Engineer-Remote possible

BRINGING FORCES TOGETHER. REALIZING DIGITALIZATION. ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with experience in both AWS and Azure cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, ETL processes, and cloud technologies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and efficiently processed across our organization by: YOUR TASKS: Designing and Developing Data Pipelines: Build, deploy, and manage scalable data pipelines using cloud services (AWS and Azure). Develop ETL processes to ingest and transform large datasets from various sources. Ensure data quality and integrity through effective validation and testing mechanisms. Data Warehousing: Design and maintain cloud-based data warehouses using tools such as Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, and other relevant technologies. Optimize data storage and retrieval strategies to support business intelligence and analytics. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Leverage AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EMR) and Azure services (e.g., Data Factory, Databricks, Blob Storage) to support data engineering tasks. Implement best practices for cloud security, cost management, and scalability. Data Modeling and Architecture: Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support the organization's analytical needs. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to align data architecture with business requirements. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data analysts, and product managers. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers. WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. 7 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud platforms. Proficiency in both AWS and Azure data services. Strong experience with ETL tools, data warehousing, and big data technologies. Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Deep understanding of cloud-based data services like AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse. Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with data lake architectures, streaming data, and real-time processing. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
