Exhibition Project Manager

As an Exhibition Project Manager , you will oversee all aspects of exhibition projects, from conception to execution, ensuring they meet client expectations and align with Iventions’ high standards. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers, playing a pivotal role in our mission to create outstanding event experiences. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles for exhibition stands, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and client expectations are met. Client Liaison : Act as the primary point of contact for clients post-contract, fostering strong relationships and understanding their specific requirements. Budgeting: Create, manage, and reconcile stand budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial adherence. Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including creative designers and sales staff, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution. Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality services. Logistics Oversight: Manage transportation, installation, and deinstallation of exhibition stands, ensuring compliance with safety and accessibility standards. On-Site Management: Supervise on-site operations during events, troubleshooting any issues that arise. Quality Assurance: Ensure exhibition stands align with client expectations and organizational artistic standards. Post-Event Reporting: Prepare comprehensive post-event reports, analyzing successes and identifying areas for improvement. Qualifications and Requirements: · 3–5 years of proven experience in project management within the exhibition industry. · Fluency in Spanish and English (C2 level). Additional languages are a plus. · Currently resides in Barcelona or willing to relocate. · Must have the legal right to work in Spain. · Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Architecture, Retail Interior Design, or a related field. Skills: · Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. · Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. · Excellent communication and negotiation skills. · Proficiency in project management tools and software. · Technical skills in AutoCAD · Technical detail orientation and a good eye for design. · Other: Willingness to travel (10-25% of the time, depending on the season).
