Job Title: Purchasing / Supply Chain Manager - Spain Location: Barcelona, Spain. Fluency in Spanish & English is mandatory. Experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain / or Distribution in the Restaurant environment / Food & Beverage Retail market is essential. Position Overview: Our client is a world-renowned French bakery and café brand, they are seeking an experienced and dynamic Purchasing / Supply Chain Manager to lead its development in Spain. This pivotal role will involve developing and executing a comprehensive purchasing strategy to drive suppliers, stocks, and ensure the supply of authorized quality products to the company's restaurants in the market without compromising service levels and business continuity. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the growth of the brand in Spain. Key Performance Areas: Supervise distribution and manage the distribution centre. Resolve non-conformances satisfactorily. Centralize supply chain information: Supplier sales reporting and tracking. Pricing and volume updates. Manage supplier and distributor performance. Maintain database formulae. Synchronize product database with finance. Update product specifications: Case size, weight, units, distribution cost, and discounts. Analyze departmental performance quarterly. Assist with global standardization of systems and reporting. Update actual prices and volumes regularly. Retrieve product information for supply chain. Provide meaningful data to support internal customers. Qualifications and Experience: 5 years of experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain / or Distribution in the Food & Beverage Retail market / Restaurant environment. 1-2 years of experience in managing people (managing a team). 2 years of experience in managing a supply chain management database. Strong understanding of the Spanish market, cultural nuances, and consumer behavior. Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Strong analytical mindset. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential. Knowledge & Skills: Advanced knowledge of Cost of Goods Systems (menu mix model). Advanced knowledge of supply chain management systems and processes.
