Operational Marketing Assistant - IBERIA Madrid, Spain Our client is seeking an Operational Marketing Assistant for the Iberia region, based in Madrid, Spain. Join a dynamic international marketing team supporting sales organisations with innovative marketing solutions tailored for local markets. Your Role: As an Operational Marketing Assistant, you will serve as the primary marketing liaison for sales teams in Spain and Portugal. Your role involves tailoring marketing materials to meet local market requirements, driving product and brand recognition, and contributing to sales success. As part of the EMEAI marketing team, you will report to the Marketing Manager of EMEAI. A strong focus on product and brand orientation is essential to providing effective marketing support to the sales organisation. Your Responsibilities: Serve as the main marketing liaison for the Sales team in Iberia. Adapt, translate, or create marketing materials for the Spanish market, including brochures, technical specs, and sales guides. Develop Spanish-specific marketing content, such as advertisements, promotions, and visuals. Assist in building and maintaining Spanish pricelists. Create and execute local media plans, including PR and advertising coordination. Organise and manage local events (trade fairs, conventions, etc.), overseeing logistics and promotional activities. Gather and share local success stories and achievements to support content creation for social media. Manage the marketing inventory (banners, goodies, literature), including stock monitoring and reordering. Regularly update and provide visibility into marketing activities to the Marketing Manager. Your Profile: Bachelor’s degree in a sales & marketing school with a marketing specialization. Proven experience in an industrial B2B environment (5 years). Native Spanish speaker with excellent written and verbal English skills. Experience with website content management (e.g., WordPress). Proficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), MS Office, and Canva. Creative, accountable, and organized with strong planning abilities. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus but not mandatory. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field. Available to travel (4 – 6 trips per year), mainly in Iberia and W-Europe.
