About the Junior Data Scientist Role We are seeking a dynamic Junior Data Scientist to join our Team based in Pisa. Our team is focused on developing advanced algorithms that drive the efficiency and effectiveness of programmatic advertising. We optimize key processes like targeting, bidding strategies, and ad delivery, ensuring data-driven decisions and measurable results. What you'll do: Analyse complex datasets in SQL, Python, Spark for trends and patterns, and interpret data with clear objectives in mind. Devise and utilize algorithms and models to optimize business processes; perform data and error analysis to improve models; clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy. Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis and inference. Skills You’ll Have: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, physics, statistics, or related discipline. Experience with Python. Basic knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms. Aptitude for learning new analytics tools. Critical thinking and diplomatic approach in solving problems. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in English (B2 level). Nice to have: Knowledge of Spark in handling distributed data sources (big data). Experience in designing Machine Learning pipelines.
