Support Worker

Job Role: Support Worker Location: Windsor and local areas Employment Hours: Full time and part time Rate of Pay: £13.39 We are a CQC registered Care Provider and we are seeking an experienced Support Worker or Day Service Office to support a delightful young lady on a one to one basis. Our client has Cerebral Palsy and learning disabilities. She is a wheelchair user and she is able to use her wheelchair independently by self - propelling but she may need some help on uneven surfaces. She requires full assistance with personal care and there is a 2nd person on site to help with all transfers. Our client is chatty and engaging but she can get extremely worried and anxious particularly around new and unfamiliar situations. Attending the day service is a new activity for her and she has settled in well. Currently she is attending the day service two days a week but it is hoped this will increase to three days in the future. Staff will need to meet our client at the day service at 1000 and support her on a 1:1 basis until 1500. Current days are Monday & Friday 10-3 with a view to adding a third day on either a Wednesday or Thursday. Our client would like someone who is bubbly, fun and confident. Adult Enhanced DBS required.
