This role is an hourly paid role, paying £13.74. The salary advertising is an example of the annualised salary for someone working 37.5 hours a week. If you work part time, this will differ. Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: What we are looking? • We are looing for advance support workers who are empathic, patient and able to provide person-centred support to individuals who will be moving into their new home and help them settle into their new lives. • We need advanced support workers who have experience of supporting people with complex care needs, youth transition and supporting young adults who are care leavers. • You will be supporting people to work towards person-centred outcomes, enabling them to develop independence and maintain safety in their home and community. You will have experience in Autism, Learning disabilities, Epilepsy, Complex Health and Medications. About The Service • Brackley House is a property in the Heaton Chapel area of Stockport, it is a five bedroom property where 4 young gentlemen with complex care needs will soon to be transitioning into their new home. • Brackley House is a supported living project for 4 people with complex care needs, all people supported are young and some are care leavers transitioning into their own tenancies for the first time. • All people supported need support with daily activities ranging from, personal care, house keeping, meals and cooking assistance, and taking part in the local activities and accessing the community. Other information? • We will have a core background team on duty 24/7 so there is overnight shifts and we will provide additional 1-1 hours support. Day shifts will be from 8am to 8pm Waking Nights from 8pm to 8am Your values: We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience.
