Job Opportunity: Freelance General Foreman – Civil Engineering Projects Location: Inverness and North of Scotland Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced General Foreman to join their team for water infrastructure projects. This role is initially for up to 3 months with potential for extension based on project needs. Key Responsibilities Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring the project remains on schedule. Effectively managing site teams and delegating tasks. Ordering plant and materials for timely project execution. Identifying and implementing proactive solutions to on-site challenges. Upholding the highest standards of Health & Safety procedures at all times. What’s On Offer Immediate start available. Pay Rate: £250 - £270 per day (Gross), dependent on experience. Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 17:30 Friday: 07:30 to 15:30 Qualifications and Requirements Proven experience on civil engineering projects, particularly water-related projects. Essential qualifications: SSSTS, DOMS, and First Aid. A full UK driving licence and own transport. Strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
