Finance Director

Your new company As the EMEA Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial closing process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and leading a team of accounting professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, a proven track record in managing financial processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Your new role Lead the monthly financial close process for the EMEA region, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US GAAP and local accounting standards. Develop and implement regional accounting policies and procedures that align with global standards. Assist in building a robust internal control environment, including the implementation and execution of internal control activities to ensure SOX compliance. Manage all activities related to preparing and issuing statutory financial statements for EMEA subsidiaries, coordinating with audit firms. Work closely with teams such as FP&A, HR, Legal, and the AMER Senior Director to support business objectives. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in EMEA accounting and payroll operations. What you'll need to succeed Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent designation. 10 years of experience with GL accounting and reporting, with experience in US-based companies preferred. Proven experience building and mentoring a diverse, high-performing team in multiple locations. Strong proficiency in US GAAP and various local GAAP (e.g., IFRS).
