Interim Claims Business Analyst Location: London, UK (remote with occasional travel) Contract Type: Contract (Outside IR35) About the Role: We’re seeking an experienced Interim Claims Business Analyst to join our client, a dynamic Insurance organisation undergoing significant growth and transformation. As part of the Claims Transformation Programme, your role will be pivotal in enhancing the Claims Operations function through process optimisation, risk and control improvements, and system functionality enhancements. Key Responsibilities: Lead requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and data analysis, delivering clear and concise documentation. Analyse business needs, highlighting risks, dependencies, and assumptions, translating them into actionable solutions. Develop and document processes, risks, and controls for Claims Operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritise requirements and deliver project milestones. Support IT testing processes, using best practice methodologies. Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.Essential Experience and Skills: 5–10 years of Business Analysis experience in insurance or financial services, with strong expertise in Claims Operations. Proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels and deliver complex IT and business change projects. Strong documentation skills, including business requirements, process flows, and testing plans. Familiarity with modelling techniques such as UML or user stories. Desirable experience in agile methodologies and working across geographies.
