EPIC EMR Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Epic EMR (Electronic Medical Record) Data Analyst to join our healthcare analytics team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Epic systems and data analytics to extract, analyze, and interpret data, providing actionable insights to support clinical, operational, and financial decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in healthcare data management, Epic certification(s), and a passion for improving patient care and organizational efficiency through data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities: Data Extraction and Reporting: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Epic reporting tools such as Clarity, Caboodle, and Reporting Workbench. Extract data from Epic EMR to support clinical, operational, and financial analytics needs. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with healthcare standards. Data Analysis: Perform complex data analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in patient care, operational efficiency, and cost management. Preference card management and familiarity with Surgical Services materials. Translate and implement analytical findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to understand their data needs and deliver customized solutions. Prior clinical Operating Room experience is essential. Partner with IT and Epic support teams to optimize system performance and data access. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements. Validate and test data outputs for accuracy and integrity. System Optimization: Collaborate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation to improve reporting capabilities. Provide input on data governance and standardization initiatives. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Epic EMR data analytics or healthcare data analysis. Hands-on experience with Epic reporting tools such as Clarity, Caboodle, and Reporting Workbench. Certifications (Preferred): Epic Clarity Data Model certification (Clinical or Revenue Cycle focus). Epic Caboodle Data Warehouse certification.
