Discover why NCDIT is the ideal destination for your professional growth - We currently have an opening for an IT Project Manager II The IT Project Manager's role will partner with the Technical Director to ensure that technical activities are managed and tracked across all the projects within the program. Duties include, but are not limited, to: Identify applications current and future state process maps and perform gap analysis for quality improvements of the software solutions. Ensure project team follows best practices while conforming to the processes and procedure of the organization's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Responsible for identifying the application's minimum viable products (MVP), required interfaces, customer needs, and legislative mandates. Forecast scope, time, and cost success deliverables in consideration of critical success factors (CSF), key process indicators (KPI) and key risk indicators (KRI). Documenting approved project artifacts (e.g. Requirements Doc., Traceability Matrix, Architecture Design, Test Plans, Risk Plan, etc.) that support the designed application from initiation to implementation. Manage and direct activities of other project managers and systems analysis to complete deliverables and move forward through the project management phases. Maintaining consistent communication for overall project financials, timelines, scope and risks Provide weekly status reports and subsequent mitigation measures to achieve optimum project health outcomes Note: Selected candidate must reside in North Carolina at time of hire.
