WSP Italia are looking for an On-Site Support Technician on a full‐time basis to be based out of our office in Turin. This is a 6-month contractual assignment, with a possibility of extension. The purpose of the role is to support the “end‐user computing” environment. When required, the role will provide on‐site support delivery in our offices across the country. YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT'S INVOLVED? The Desktop Support Technician will provide user‐facing desktop support, computer provisioning and deployment services, as well as focusing on offering excellent internal customer service. Primarily, for WSP locations across the region, remote support will be undertaken. There will, however, be occasions when national and international travel will be necessary (when on‐site support is required). Together, the colleagues from the region provide an excellent ONEiT experience and help with IT integration projects growing and improving the business. Deployment, configuration and installation of laptops, workstations and mobile devices (Win10, IOS and Android) Coordinate with vendors for provision of end‐user support (e.g. Hardware Vendor technicians for warranty repair/replacement) Provide application deployment and support (Azure, SCCM, Autopilot and Active Directory) Troubleshooting and resolving incidents and service requests from the business Work according to all WSP policies and procedures (HSSE, Code of Conduct etc.) WHAT IF IT WAS YOU? Candidates should hold a recognised qualification in a scientific or technical field, ideally in computer studies or an equivalent subject. They must have demonstrable experience in an IT support role, preferably with a focus on end-user support. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential in English and Italian. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent knowledge of end-user computer hardware, including workstations, laptops, mobile devices, monitors, printers, and peripherals. Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft Office 365, and other common software is also required. Experience with incident management using recognized ticketing systems and an understanding of ITIL Service Management are highly desirable. This role requires physical attendance at the office, along with a valid driver’s license to provide support across various locations in the country.
