Data Analytics Manager

Job Description Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Manager to lead our data analytics team and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of advanced analytics solutions that support strategic initiatives and operational improvements. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise in data analytics, and the ability to collaborate across multiple business units to ensure data insights are effectively utilized. The Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for managing the analytics team, defining the analytics strategy, and working with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve business outcomes. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of data analysis techniques, business intelligence tools, and data management platforms, as well as experience in driving complex projects from inception to completion. Job Description: Objectives of this Role • Lead and mentor the data analytics team, ensuring high performance and continuous development. • Develop and implement a data analytics strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives operational improvements. • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights and recommendations. • Oversee the design and development of advanced data models, reports, and dashboards to support business initiatives. • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across all analytics projects. • Identify and prioritize analytics projects based on business impact and available resources. Key Responsibilities • Leadership: Manage a team of data analysts, providing coaching, feedback, and guidance to ensure successful project delivery and professional growth. • Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive data analytics strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and helps drive business performance. • Data Insights: Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights based on data analysis. • Analytics Solutions: Oversee the development of advanced analytics solutions, including data models, statistical analyses, predictive models, and business intelligence reports. • Collaboration: Work closely with IT, data engineering, and other technical teams to ensure seamless data integration and infrastructure support for analytics projects. • Data Governance: Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all analytics outputs. • Project Management: Manage the end-to-end analytics project lifecycle, from scoping and planning to execution and delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs. • Technology Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize analytics tools, processes, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, business analytics, computer science, or a related field. • 5 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role. • Proven track record of leading and managing data analytics teams, delivering successful analytics projects, and driving business impact. • Expertise in business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), data visualization, and advanced analytics techniques. • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages for data analysis and modeling. • Experience with data management platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, etc.) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership. • Outstanding communication skills, capable of presenting complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices. • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) is a plus.
