A Day in the Life Study and Scientific Solutions (S&SS) is a global Medtronic team that provides scientific and clinical support to all Medtronic Operating Units (OUs). By joining our team, you will be able to work with different stakeholders around the globe in a scientific project management role. Examples of projects supported in this role include medical writing of scientific communications, literature review, clinical survey project management, advisory board support, and project management of external, physician/institution facing services. We offer a temporary contract, based in Milan or Rome office, hybrid role, expected to travel only 5% of time. Responsibilities may include the following: Performs the overall Project Management of clinical and scientific support activities for different Medtronic OUs. Maintains scientific relationships with physicians and other internal stakeholders with the goal to inquire, discover and disseminate scientific evidence. Supports evidence strategy activities, including regional evidence strategy development. Manages customer and physician facing relationships for delivering site-facing services and solutions, potentially including Advisory Board activities. Writes publications and scientific communications. Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in scientific field. Excellent English both written and spoken. A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management or medical writing. Ability to perform literature reviews. Ability to work in matrix with multidisciplinary global teams. Flexibility and proactivity. Medical Writing certifications, Project Management skills, proficiency in additional languages, and a background in regulatory affairs are desirable qualities for this role, enhancing the ability to manage projects efficiently, navigate regulatory requirements, and communicate effectively in a global healthcare environment.
