Job Description

Hays Recruitment is partnering with a local council to recruit two Managed Move Coordinators on an interim basis. This role is crucial in ensuring children receive the appropriate educational provision and support they need. Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify Children Requiring Alternative Provisions: Identify children needing alternative provision under Section 19 of the Education Act 1996 through notifications from schools. Ensure children subject to off-site direction or a managed move are offered appropriate provision. 2. Collaborate with Schools and Partner Agencies: Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with schools and partner agencies in the locality or as allocated. Help remove local barriers to full-time education and ensure statutory requirements are met. 3. Work with Alternative Providers: Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with alternative providers in the locality or as allocated. Help remove local barriers to full-time education and ensure statutory requirements are met. Qualifications and Skills: Experience in education, social work, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
