Class 1 Driver

This role is crucial for our client's logistics, ensuring timely transport of goods between depots and distribution centers. Shift start times - 1600 - 2200 Shift pattern - Friday to Monday/Tuesday Rates: Weekdays (0800 -1900) - £17.89 Weeknights (1900 - 0800) - 20.54 Saturday Days (0800 -1900) - £19.04 Saturday Nights (1900 - 0800) - £21.69 Sunday Days - (0800 -1900) - £20.04 Sunday Nights (1900 - 0800) - £22.69 Bank Holiday - £35.78 Responsibilities: Transport Operations: Execute assigned trunking routes, ensuring safe and timely delivery. Vehicle Management: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues. Safety Compliance: Follow all road safety regulations and company policies. Documentation: Accurately manage paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks. Communication: Regularly update the logistics team on delivery progress and issues. Customer Service: Provide excellent service to clients and represent the company professionally. Requirements: Valid UK Class 1 Driving License. 2 years of Class 1 driving experience. No more than 6 endorsement points on your license. Clean DBS check.
