7.5 TONNE DRIVER - PART-TIME WORKING DAYS: SATURDAY AND SUNDAY START TIME: 09:00 £12.50 PER HOUR People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5T Driver to join our well-established client based in Darnley, Glasgow . This role involves delivering home improvement products to residential locations, requiring candidates who are punctual, professional, and physically fit for manual handling tasks. You will be working as part of a two-person team, ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and providing excellent customer service. Benefits As a 7.5T Driver , you will receive: Competitive hourly rate of £12.50 per hour Weekly pay every Friday Ongoing work with overtime available Immediate start Site parking Guaranteed minimum of eight hours pay per day Day-to-Day Duties Your duties as a 7.5T Driver will include but are not limited to: Operating and driving 7.5T vehicles for home deliveries Working with a Driver's Mate to load and unload goods at various locations Ensuring all products are delivered safely and on time Providing excellent customer service during deliveries Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Adhering to all traffic laws and health & safety regulations Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs Essential Skills To be successful as a 7.5T Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence A valid UK CPC Card & Digi Card Minimum of two years' experience driving a 7.5T vehicle No more than six points on your licence (no DR, IN, or TT endorsements) Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy goods Punctual and excellent timekeeping skills Good communication and customer service skills Training Manual handling training will be provided.
