Palantir Developer - ETL/Data Pipeline

Key Responsibilities : Palantir Foundry Platform Development : - Develop, configure, and maintain scalable data pipelines on the Palantir Foundry platform to automate ETL processes. - Utilize Palantir's tools and features to implement robust workflows for data transformation and integration. - Design and optimize ontology models for effective data representation and integration. Data Analysis and Engineering : - Analyze large datasets using Contour to uncover actionable insights. - Build efficient data models to support data warehouse and reporting needs. - Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across pipelines. Dashboards and Visualization : - Design and implement interactive dashboards and visualizations within Palantir Foundry, enabling clear and effective data storytelling. - Translate business requirements into visualization solutions to aid decision-making. Migration and Deployment : - Manage the migration and deployment processes on the Palantir Foundry platform. - Optimize deployment workflows and ensure seamless transitions between environments. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement : - Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices for data engineering and platform usage. Required Skill Set : Technical Skills : - Palantir Foundry Platform : Advanced experience in building pipelines, implementing workflows, and utilizing Foundry's capabilities. - Programming Languages : Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL for data processing and analysis. - ETL Processes : Expertise in automating ETL pipelines and integrating with data systems. - Data Warehousing : Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts and implementation. - Data Modeling : Experience designing scalable and efficient data models. - Visualization Tools : Hands-on experience in developing dashboards using Palantir Foundry. - Ontology Design : Proficient in creating ontologies for effective data integration and representation. Additional Skills : - Strong experience with version control systems (i.e., Git) and deployment pipelines (CI/CD). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (i.e., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage. - Exposure to big data frameworks like Apache Spark or similar technologies. - Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
