Technical Project Lead - SAP Platform

Title : Project Tech Lead Experience : 10 years Location : Bangalore (Hybrid) Role Overview : We are looking for an accomplished Project Tech Lead with over 10 years of experience in the supply chain domain, specializing in data analytics within the manufacturing industry. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive projects, provide technical direction, and guide a team of analysts and engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP solutions, data analytics, and business intelligence, ensuring data-driven decision-making for process optimization and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities : 1. Team Leadership & Mentorship : - Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of data analysts and engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. - Provide strategic guidance, hands-on training, and support to enhance the skills and productivity of the team. - Drive best practices in data analytics, ensuring high-quality deliverables. 2. Data Analysis & Reporting : - Analyze large and complex datasets to derive meaningful insights on stainless steel production, sales trends, quality, and supply chain operations. - Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decisions. - Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all analytical workstreams. 3. SAP Solutioning & Integration : - Work closely with stakeholders to understand business analytics needs in areas such as Demand and Fulfillment, Finance, and Order Management. - Utilize deep expertise in SAP S4 HANA, SAP BW, and Snowflake to drive data analysis and reporting. - Identify opportunities to enhance SAP analytics capabilities and optimize end-to-end business processes. 4. Advanced Data Analytics & Insights : - Leverage data analytics techniques to interpret and optimize supply chain operations. - Generate insightful reports and presentations, translating data findings into actionable business strategies. - Apply statistical methods and predictive analytics to improve inventory management, demand forecasting, and operational efficiency. 5. Strategic Planning & Business Alignment : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics initiatives with overarching business objectives. - Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize key functions such as HVAC sales, procurement, logistics, and financial planning. - Utilize industry knowledge to suggest process enhancements and data-driven improvements. 6. Data Governance & Quality Management : - Establish and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure security, compliance, and high data quality standards. - Implement data cleansing, validation, and integrity checks to maintain consistent and reliable datasets. - Monitor data processes and recommend improvements to enhance analytical accuracy and efficiency. 7. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication : - Effectively communicate insights and findings to stakeholders, including senior leadership and business units. - Act as a bridge between technical teams and business users, ensuring clear understanding and alignment of analytical objectives. - Collaborate with various departments to identify, assess, and fulfill their data analytics needs. 8. Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement : - Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for analytics projects. - Continuously assess and refine the team's processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency and business impact. - Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in data analytics and supply chain management. Required Qualifications & Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus. - 8 years of proven leadership experience in data analytics, with a strong ability to manage and develop high-performing teams. - Expertise in SAP analytics solutions including SAP S4 HANA, SAP BW, and Snowflake. - Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc. - Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms. - In-depth understanding of supply chain processes such as procurement, inventory management, demand planning, and logistics. - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical insights in a business-friendly manner.
