Role Description : This is a full-time on-site role in Chennai/Hybrid as an Enterprise Resources Planning Technical Consultant at Gabriel & Co. The Consultant will be responsible for providing technical support, implementing ERP software, consulting on business processes, and optimizing the ERP system to meet the company's needs. Key Responsibilities : - Configure, develop, and deliver MS Dynamics NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL software and components in all functional areas. - Create new and modify existing customizations and integrations as requested by the business. - Perform data conversions, debug system problems, and craft resolutions. - Installation and implementation of service packs and hot fixes as needed. - Technical liaison to business groups for application support. - Test functionality developed by the development team against business requirements. - Support and drive process change and communication in line with NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL best practices. - Coordinate and contribute to end-user training including the development of system documentation and training materials. - Assist with functional specifications of customizations and integrations required for NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL implementations. - Take responsibility for delivering development tasks within agreed timelines. - Creation of technical documentation for all customizations and integrations. - Any other tasks as reasonably require. Experience and Skills required : - 5 or more years experience as a software developer, specifically working with NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL C/SIDE C/AL development language. - Role Tailored Client (RTC) development experience (including page and report development in Visual Studio). - Experience working with common third-party add-on solutions and their integration with MS NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL highly desirable; Pacejet & Charge Logic experience a plus. - SQL Experience a plus. - Prior NAV/BUSINESS CENTRAL upgrade and data migration experiences are highly desired. - Ability to document code customizations and integrations in compliance with established standards and practices.
