Test Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities : - Collaborate with product owners and developers to understand product requirements and translate them into detailed test plans and test cases. - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). - Develop and maintain test data for various testing scenarios. - Execute test cases manually and/or using automated scripts. - Log and track defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). - Analyze test results, identify trends, and generate comprehensive test reports. - Develop and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks. - Participate in the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) process. - Automate regression testing to ensure software quality over time. - Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure quality is built into the software from the start. - Conduct risk assessments and identify potential quality issues. - Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. - Effectively communicate testing status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. - Collaborate effectively with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on software quality and best practices. Required Skills & Experience : - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). - Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript). - Experience with SQL and databases. Experience with API testing tools and techniques. - Experience with performance and load testing tools (optional). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Detail-oriented and results-driven. Ability to learn new technologies quickly. Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Skills & Experience : - Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with mobile testing (iOS, Android). - Experience with security testing. - Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). - Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
