We are looking for a Manager II, Frontend Engineering, responsible for both technical guidance and managerial oversight. 7EDGE is a Digital Product Engineering Company based in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will lead, manage, and mentor a team of Frontend Developers. If you are eager to help shape the future of Frontend Engineering while guiding and empowering a talented team, we would love to hear from you RESPONSIBILITIES : - Manage multiple Frontend initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation, timely delivery, and adherence to budget constraints. - Streamline workflows, reduce project scope creep, and identify synergies across teams and initiatives while driving process improvements. - Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, ensure alignment with strategic objectives and identify areas for improvement. - Proactively identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans, and address challenges with stakeholders and team members. - Structure and lead teams to facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across projects. - Foster a positive, inclusive work environment by integrating diverse perspectives, resolving conflicts constructively, and promoting appreciation for individual and team achievements. - Mentor and develop team members by providing constructive feedback, career guidance, and targeted development programs aligned with organizational goals. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Project Management, Design, Backend) to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. - Delegate tasks effectively, monitor team performance, and ensure the team's efficiency and alignment with business objectives. - Play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining talent to ensure the team's growth and alignment with organizational needs. - Be part of manpower planning to analyze current and future needs, ensuring optimal resource allocation and workforce efficiency. - Empower and motivate team members by recognizing their contributions and fostering a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and professional growth. REPORTING LINE : You will be reporting to Manager II, Engineering Management. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 6 years in Frontend Engineering, with 3 years in a managerial role. - Experience managing multiple initiatives, optimizing resource allocation, and meeting deadlines and budget constraints. - Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, streamlining processes, and reducing project scope creep. - Expertise in tracking KPIs and ensuring alignment with project goals and business objectives. - Proactive in identifying and mitigating risks with contingency plans. - Ability to monitor project progress, address shortfalls, and communicate with stakeholders. - Strong leadership, fostering problem-solving, ownership, and team collaboration. - Experience in process improvement and optimizing workflows. - Actively seeks and values diverse perspectives, fostering an inclusive environment. - Skilled in conflict resolution and facilitating constructive team discussions. - Proven experience in talent development, and mentoring high-potential employees for leadership roles. PREFERRED SKILLSET : - AWS Cloud Certified Practitioner and AWS Certified Developer Associate certifications. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines. - Advanced skills in people management, and conflict resolution. - Strong understanding of business models, and financial metrics.
