It has an extensive Global Experience & Capabilities to provide Technology support in a major part of the world. About the Role : We are seeking an experienced Sage X3 Developer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within the Sage X3 ERP system. The role will involve enhancing the Sage X3 platform to support key business functions, including finance, distribution, manufacturing, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sage X3 development, including integration, customization, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: Sage X3 Development: Customization & Scripting: Design and develop customizations using 4GL (Sage X3's native language) and SQL to support various business needs. Write scripts to enhance system functionalities, ensuring they align with business processes. Integration with External Systems: Build and maintain integrations between Sage X3 and other business systems (e.g., CRM, WMS, BI tools). Develop seamless data flows and resolve integration issues. Reporting: Develop customized reports using Crystal Reports and Business Intelligence (BI) tools. Optimize reports to meet specific user requirements while ensuring system performance. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and debugging in the Sage X3 system. Address system errors and ensure business continuity by minimizing downtime. Automation & Workflow Design: Implement automated workflows and business process automations to improve operational efficiency. Customize and configure workflows in modules such as procurement, inventory management, and manufacturing. Sage X3 Module Expertise: Module Customization: Customize and configure modules like Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Inventory to meet unique business needs. Ensure modules work together seamlessly to optimize business processes. Business Process Optimization: Work with business analysts and users to identify areas of improvement in business processes. Leverage Sage X3 features to streamline operations and drive efficiencies across departments. System Integration: Ensure that data flows accurately across Sage X3 modules, eliminating data silos and improving operational efficiency. Collaboration with Business and IT Teams: Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to gather system requirements. Understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions within Sage X3. Communication & Training: Provide support for end-users and assist in training them on new customizations and features. Ensure effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, delivering clear updates and training materials. Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain accurate documentation for all system customizations and modifications. Establish best practices for using Sage X3 effectively across the organization. System Maintenance and Upgrades: Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor the Sage X3 system for performance issues, ensuring the application runs smoothly. Triage and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and scalability. Upgrades & Patches: Support the planning and execution of Sage X3 upgrades, ensuring that customizations are compatible with new versions. Test updates and patches to ensure minimal disruption to operations. User Support: Offer technical support for Sage X3 users, helping them resolve issues and ensuring that the system continues to operate efficiently. Provide guidance on the proper use of Sage X3 features. Required Skills and Qualifications: Sage X3 Development Experience: Solid experience in Sage X3 development, including knowledge of 4GL, SQL, and the ability to customize Sage X3 applications. ERP System Expertise: Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes, particularly in finance, manufacturing, inventory management, and distribution modules. Integration & Reporting Skills: Proficient in integrating third-party applications with Sage X3, and experienced in creating custom reports using Crystal Reports and BI tools. Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills. Ability to diagnose complex issues, develop solutions, and support system functionality across multiple modules. Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications. Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. System Support & Maintenance: Experience in maintaining and optimizing an ERP system to ensure that it runs smoothly and scales with business needs. Preferred Qualifications: Sage X3 Certification: Certification or formal training in Sage X3 development or implementation is a plus. Cloud Deployment: Familiarity with cloud-based Sage X3 deployments is highly desirable, as more businesses migrate to cloud ERP solutions. Additional ERP Experience: Experience with other ERP systems and integrating them into Sage X3 is beneficial.
