About the Role : We are looking for an experienced SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) Lead to manage and lead the implementation of SAP CAR solutions for our enterprise-level clients. The SAP CAR Lead will be responsible for managing the design, configuration, and integration of SAP CAR modules to ensure seamless data flow and reporting across various SAP and non-SAP systems. This role will require strong expertise in SAP CAR, SAP HANA, and integration with other SAP modules, such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP POS, and SAP Hybris. The ideal candidate will possess both technical knowledge and strong leadership skills to guide a team of consultants and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: SAP CAR Solution Design & Implementation: Solution Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of SAP CAR solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements. Develop and customize SAP CAR to support real-time reporting and analytics for customer activities, including sales, inventory, and customer engagement. Business Process Mapping: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into SAP CAR-specific configurations. Map customer activity data flows between SAP POS, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP systems. Configuration: Lead the configuration of SAP CAR modules, including Customer Activity Management (CAM), Real-Time Data Integration (RTDI), Point of Sale (POS) integration, and Retail Reporting. Integration & Data Management: Data Integration: Oversee integration between SAP CAR and other SAP systems like SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP Hybris, and third-party systems. Ensure seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Data Modeling: Design data models to store and manage large volumes of customer, sales, and inventory data in SAP CAR, leveraging SAP HANA as a database platform. Real-Time Data Processing: Implement real-time data processing techniques to support the analysis of customer activity, including point-of-sale transactions and other customer interactions, ensuring real-time reporting capabilities. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Leadership: Lead a team of SAP CAR consultants and developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship. Ensure that project timelines are met and the quality of deliverables is maintained. Collaboration: Work with other technical teams, business stakeholders, and project managers to ensure the successful implementation of SAP CAR. Act as a liaison between technical and functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals. Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to understand their business needs, provide recommendations for SAP CAR enhancements, and ensure that solutions are delivered according to client specifications. Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: System Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of SAP CAR, ensuring data accuracy, system availability, and response time. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, data integration, and reporting. Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize system performance, data processing, and reporting. Implement best practices in data management and integration to ensure high availability and minimal downtime. Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest SAP CAR releases, new functionalities, and emerging technologies. Apply best practices and industry standards to improve the SAP CAR solution. Process Improvements: Continuously assess and improve SAP CAR processes, recommending changes to streamline workflows and enhance overall system efficiency. Required Skills and Qualifications: SAP CAR Expertise: Strong experience with SAP CAR implementation, including CAM, RTDI, and POS integration. SAP HANA Knowledge: Experience working with SAP HANA, including database design, data modeling, and performance optimization. Integration Skills: Proficiency in integrating SAP CAR with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Hybris, SAP BW) and third-party systems using IDOC, BAPI, and RESTful APIs. Technical Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing complex projects, and mentoring junior consultants. Business Process Understanding: Strong understanding of retail and customer activity management business processes, including sales, inventory, and point-of-sale transactions. Analytical Skills: Experience with reporting and analytics using SAP BW, SAP BusinessObjects, or other reporting tools to provide actionable insights based on customer activity data. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues related to SAP CAR, integrations, and data processing. Proactively resolve system and performance issues. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: SAP certifications in SAP CAR, SAP S/4HANA, or related areas. Cloud Integration: Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions such as SAP Cloud Platform or integration with third-party cloud systems.
